We began operations in 1974 and since we opened our first facility in Brooklyn have provided meals and snacks for thousands of children, youths and adults throughout the five boroughs.

We are proud to be a New York, family owned and operated company that provides the highest quality meals using only the finest ingredients. Wherever possible we try to ensure that our meals provide a good balance of healthy nutrients including protein, carbohydrates and of course fresh vegetables or salad. Our meals will vary depending on the recipients and their needs. We understand the importance of smart nutrition and food choices and how they can help prevent disease and illness.

The preparation of each and every meal that leaves our premises is carried out with genuine concern for quality assurance and nutritional value. Regina Caterers maintains a current food preparation permit issued by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and all kitchen personnel have received the Department’s Food Handlers Training and Certificate. Copies of permits and inspection reports including our Hazardous Materials Management Plan are available upon request. To ensure nutritional value we work with leading nutritionist Jamie Pittman.

Jamie is a Registered Dietitian with her Masters of Science degree in Dietetics. Much of her professional experience as a Registered Dietitian has involved community education, program development, menu development/ compliance and individual nutritional counseling. Jamie works closely with Regina Caterers to develop menus that are compliant with CACFP/NSLP and NYC Food Standards. She ensures that the meals that are being served meet the nutritional needs of Regina Caterers clientele.

Food Preparation

Regina Caterers maintains a current food preparation permit issued by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and all kitchen personnel have received the Department’s Food Handlers Training and Certificate. Menus

At Regina Caterers, we work closely with program operators to develop and design menus that meet the nutritional and cultural needs of their clients. All Regina’s locations are ‘Nut Free Facilties.’ Meals can be delivered either ‘Family Style’ or ‘Individually Packaged.’  Menu choices include: regular, vegetarian, allergen free and Kosher.
